Who Qualifies

To apply for residency at either The Erwin Home or Erwin Terrace, there are only three criteria you must meet, however these criteria are part of Mr. Erwin's will, and no exceptions can be allowed.

1. You must be a woman.
2. You must have a connection to the greater New Britain area. To meet this requirement, you must either live in this area now or have lived in it in the past.
3. You must be able to care for yourself. Your family (if applicable) and your apartment now and for the duration of your residency here. The Erwin Home is for persons able to live independently. The staff is not allowed to provide or assist in nursing, medical care, medicines, medical devices, palliatives or medically related transportation.
